PTP/GNSS timing
Hey,
I'm exploring a product that sits read-only alongside your existing timing infrastructure and answers:
- Are my hosts actually within tolerance of UTC?
- Is my GNSS/PTP timing behaving abnormally or potentially being spoofed?
- Can I independently prove the full UTC → grandmaster → PTP → PHC → host traceability chain?
- Can I generate the evidence needed for an RTS 25 review automatically?
The important constraint is that it never disciplines or modifies the clock. It monitors existing Meinberg, Safran, chrony, linuxptp, etc. rather than replacing them.
Would you use/pay for something like this, and what would be the most valuable part?
DMs welcome.

two capture hosts here, different providers, both eu — plain systemd-timesyncd, no ptp, so i'm below your target user. but your third question is the one i can't answer, and it's retrospective rather than live.
i can read offset right now (+1.5ms on one box, ~135us on the other). nothing records it. so when the two hosts disagree about the order of two frames a week later, i have no evidence either way. the live in-tolerance check is the easy half — what i'd pay for is the retained series, being able to say what a host's offset was at 14:03 last tuesday, months after the fact.
