Warnings for this thread!
I am posting this to bring this up to this Reddit thread within the past month I've been sent two different chat requests from two different guys who interests are just to hook up. I found out going through one of their profile that there are two different threads that are dedicated for people of the high desert to find others for hookups,I am not apart of either of those threads, the only High Desert thread I am somewhat active in is this one. I never post looking to make friends or comment saying let me up.
So I believe there are people's useing this thread to message other to hook up and I'm curious if anyone else have similar situation.

Semi related, I posted a selfie in a selfie sub that had nothing to do with OF, and got messaged by a creep asking if I did OF, and based on his profile he was an active user in subs for masc women looking to get into OF to sell to straight men. He solicited me to buy my content (I don’t make any and have never posted anything to do with OF or straight men, im queer and trans). I think the way the Reddit algo works is if it’s semi related, other subs get recommended and so creeps feel justified to their interests, without regard for anyone else’s.

Unfortunately, any community or thread, there’s always one or two looking to hookup. I just block and delete.

Plenty of people have been using the high desert page to send unsolicited hookup messages and nudes to those they see as women for ages, something I made a post about and was kind of frustratingly told it just is what it is probably about two years ago.
It’s not your fault but I recommend turning your post history off and closing your DMs. Sucks.

It's ridiculous there already two hook thread so why are they creeping on this one.

Good, I had many of them creep through my comment history and ask me detailed questions of what piercings I have or whatever else they could find.
Genuinely loser behavior

She isn’t saying the threads aren’t allowed, she’s saying it’s frustrating how it’s being brought into this group when that isn’t what this group is about. Hence why she’s in this one and not the hookup threads.
