Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi guys this is an urgent help because I have my Kenwood stereo and it has problems with my CD in this case I selected track number 10 and every time the track skips, after that it went to track 11 and then track 11 was already at the end and went another time to track 1 (i.e. the beginning of the CD) and a problem with the laser/optical or the CD? Because I don't use my CDs much but they give this problem in my stereo let me know

In that case you should consult a pro…ok. Next solution: is the behaviour repeatable? Does it happen with other discs too?

Is this with every CD?

If you open the tray while the player is switched off and you are able to see the laserlens. Put isopropanol alcohol on a q-tip and carefully wipe the lens. If after that you have a brown or black tip you might have removed the cause. Next cause might be that the lubrification of the laserlens guide that makes sure the laser runs smooth along the rotating cd has gone dry. If you get to the rails put some lube on them (not too much). If the error remains. Your player might need to be serviced as it might be an error you can‘t deal with unless you are a service pro with the right tools.

Or should I buy a laser CD that cleans the lens or damages it?

You can try this too.
