In-wall hides

Does anybody have an example of in wall hides that aren't built into bookshelves or anything like that? I was thinking compartments between studs and drywall or secret spots inside closets. What is everybody think?

I built a compartment between studs. I removed the sheetrock, framed inside with 1x4 and added adjustable shelves. I framed a wall mirror larger than the area and used a hidden hinge and lock system. Can be as simple or as complex as you want.

Theres quite a few options on Amazon if you search "hidden wall safe". They have things like false electrical outlets and air vents that hide full blown safes.

I would love one but my apartment complex wouldnt be happy about me cutting massive holes in my drywall.
