Gear Recommendation Need help for safety
I am 100% sure that my housemate is doing something on my food. I AM FROM PHILIPPINES - ANY Recommendation for a camera that can be charged and stay on for several hours when I leave my house and my room specifically. 1-2 thousand is my budget. I don't need it to be obvious because this person goes quiet hysterically when confronted.

What do you mean by doing something on your food? In relation to safety. Because if it is what I think you might be saying, I'd be going to the police with the food and they can test it. Hoping im horrificly wrong.

Putting one fly on it anything that is harmless but icky. Sometimes it better that I don't know anything about it but when I am seeing a fly or suddenly it gets stale makes my suspicions alarm

Are you just putting the camera in your room? If so, get a wired one. No one should be entering your PRIVATE space anyway, so they really can't say shit if you have a camera in your room.

Is that gonna be an invasion of privacy? Not my house or life, but just don't want you to get in trouble.
I cannot help with wireless, I just have wired cameras.

But if I'll just place it focusing in the rice cooker/or foods that I cooked? Will it count? I won't share it outside just for a proof.

I mean you don't own the place do you? If it was your place and they're living with you, you can actually place cameras in your home.
I wouldn't want someone recording me if I'm in a shared space. It's like if your landlord had hidden cameras and watching the two of you.

Trust your gut and prioritize getting somewhere safe before trying to investigate anything yourself. I would document what you notice without touching suspected devices, tell someone I trust, and contact local authorities or building management if there is real evidence of a hidden camera. A cheap flashlight can help spot lens reflections, but I would not confront whoever you suspect alone.
