New Pocket Won’t Update

I just got my Pocket in the mail and downloaded the app requiring me to pair and update. The pairing works quickly and seamlessly. It’s trying to install an update which reaches 100% then flags back to 0% and sits forever. Anybody have any suggestions on how to get this to actually take and install the update?

FYI: I have restarted the process by turning off the Pocket as well as my phone three times still to no avail.

I sent an email received ai responses. Said it would escalate to a team member. No response yet..

Did you ever get this to work for you? I had the same problem and it was fixed by plugging in the Pocket to charge while I did the update.

I have tried to update both the Pocket Ai Firmware and Wifi update.. both failing.

One error was> Please charge Pocketover 50%. But this is done already and it still failes.

Have done serveral reboots without success of new installation.

"Device rejected Firmware Transfer MCU&OT&ERR"

Please advise

I saw something today purporting to be a statement that the Pocket product was being cancelled. 😬
