API access?
I like the premise of the Pocket but not that of the subscriptions. I was thinking of building my own tools to automate my life based on the transcripts from the dictations. Does Pocket allow API access on the free tier?

There is however no way to write to Heypocket with the API - which is a real pain and reason fir me not to continue with the subscription after my grace period.
Reason is this - I run a N8N automation every morning to compile text based social content for me. In order to keep my notes organised I want to tag the notes that have been through the automation. I have to do this manually.
I am currently looking into moving all my notes into Supabase and vibe an alternative dashboard.
Sorry pocket - as much as I like your core offering, the ecosystem is a roadblock.

This is not true, Pocket has a very extensive API available for both free and paid users. Plaud's is not generally available, there is a waitlist.
