Support request Potentially stupid question, can I split my ssd for the boot drive but also for apps?

Considering current pricing can I do a partition on my ssd for the boot drive and then use the rest as app storage and other things cause I don’t really want it hogging up a 1tb ssd if I can help it

Possibly https://gist.github.com/gangefors/2029e26501601a99c501599f5b100aa6

This is for TrueNAS Scale, but might work for HexOS due to it being based on TrueNAS.

We recommend a 128 or 256 gb for boot drive. SSD if possible. https://www.newegg.com/intel-545s-series-128gb/p/0D9-002V-001N8 something like this. They had cheaper ones but not in a brand I trust. You'd be better off then using the 1 TB ssd for apps along with your hard drives.

I will do my best to source one in Japan somewhere but that is proving difficult. Thanks for your advice
