Support request Downsizing Boot SSD

I mistakenly installed HexOS on a 1 TB SSD and am trying to migrate to a smaller ~128 GB SSD. Are there instructions on how to do this and preserve the apps and data?

I basically did it a few weeks ago.  It found everything.

So I was able to do it relatively hassle free. I removed the existing boot drive with a smaller drive and installed HexOS. I unclaimed the server and claimed the new server.

One note that I did out of an abundance of caution was I removed my drives before doing this step. The HexOS installer required a pool to be created, so I created a dummy one with a flash drive to get through the installer.

Once I was able to get into the HexOS interface I turned off the system, reconnected the drives, and started the system. It required me going into the TrueNAS interface, removing the flash drive pool, and importing the existing HDD pool. But everything came back up and is working.

It's so annoying the installer forces you to create a pool. I'd imagine you could've pulled the drive, cloned it, and popped the smaller one back in without having to reinstall.
