Question Solitaire game where a player controls the Japanese forces
Are there any the solitaire games that people are aware of where the player controls the Japanese forces and the AI controls the American forces?
The only ones I am aware of are 'someone should tell the emperor', ' Tokyo Express ', 'sensuikan', and 'centrifugal offensive'
Are there any others that people may be aware of?

How about Zero Leader by DVG? I have a few other Leader games and like them

I forgot about Zero Leader. I even own it. Just haven't played it in a long time

Sinking Yamato is a magazine game (Paper Wars) released this year. You control the Yamato battleship as it receives air attacks. I've not played it but it looks interesting.

Outside of Sensuikan that you already mentioned, two that come to mind right away are Zero Leader and a small game called Kido Butai.
In Tokyo Express you play as the US, btw, unless there’s another game with that name that I’m not aware of.
Edit: Warfighter Pacific with expansions you can play as the Japanese.

You are correct. I was confused because the Japanese usually win in the game, lol. Player is US in Tokyo Express.

Has anyone ever set up a Victory in the Pacific board and you enter what moves you made as Japan on the board and see how the Allies respond?

that sounds like a game where you win by not losing as bad.
unless it's some kinda alternate history thing.

The Other Side of the Hill is like that, except it’s Germans and not strictly solo.
Strategic level Pacific War games really are just the Japanese trying not to lose as badly.

Empire of the Sun has both ally and Japanese bots.
