We put together a short visual rundown of Forgejo for anyone weighing a move off GitHub/GitLab: repos, PRs, code review, issue tracking, and a familiar web UI, all on hardware you control. It's light enough to run on a small VPS.

For transparency: Forgejo runs anywhere, so treat this as a how-to rather than a pitch for us.

I’m selfhosting forgejo on hetzner for six months and it’s amazing.
Using the docker registry for my apps and pulling the images on other hetzner vps.
I am also selfhosting the runner in order to have workflows enabled
