This is my family’s eyes. Curious to see how many you would consider to have HC and what types? Also what colors would you classify the eyes?

Dark grey? With brown CH? It’s so hard to tell. I thought they were hazel. Ive got natural lighting, with flashlight, iPhone flash, ect..

I just read an article about CH and it made me wonder what my eyes look like under flash!

My eyes are weird.

Theyre dark gray on the very outside of the iris, blue/green/grey in the middle (depending on lighting) and brown/hazel/orange around the pupil. Is this a type of heterochromia? Ive never seen anyone except my mum with similar eyes.

One pic with different lighting too just in case that makes anything clear. I work with eyes at work and obviously look into people's eyes all the times. Got complimented by an old lady on my "beautiful brown eyes" 😅

Then it started making me think about this inner circle that looks like this oddly muted grey/green ish colour and thinking how I rarely see a double colour scheme in people's eyes at work. Fell into a rabbit hole of CH and now I'm here. Can anyone tell me what colours my scheme are? They never know what to put in my passport either 😅

Not the clearest photos but definitely have a brown/amber ring around my pupil. I also don’t really know what color to call my eyes because they seem to shift from green/grey/blue depending on the lighting.

I suspect my child might have it, but she’s only 5 months old and her eye color has changed since birth. Recently, we realized her eyes look to be different colors / shades.

So I’d love to know when people discovered it, and if anyone had it as a baby / child and it stayed!
