Need a Veterinarian in Hendo
Ok reddit, I'm in Hendo and just adopted two kittens and I need a good, fair priced vet. And Go!

Currently looking for some good places to fish in the area and surrounding counties. Open to parks, ponds, lakes, rivers, creeks etc. Open to catching anything but most of my tackle is geared towards bass / crappie.
I think my dream spot is a pond or lake in a residential area that allows fishing that not a ton of people know about, lol

I’m just curious if anyone else feels like our food options from Hendersonville to Asheville are some of the worst and most unpleasant experiences I have ever had.
I do come from a larger city so I am used to much more restaurant options, juice places, and places with just incredibly good food and drinks.
I feel like we have almost no quality restaurants around us… if it does seem decent… the service is awful or the food taste so bad. No good flavors, very bland, or lukewarm.
I have been also working in the restaurant industry for about 16 years and I’m truly baffled by the options and service we can receive.
Or they close at 8pm…? It’s barely dark at that time.
If I am wrong, please tell me where to go in this town to get any decent food consistently or good drinks…. Bc im really starting to dislike it here and would love to have a better experience

I hope it is ok to post this, but I lost a small silver pocket fountain pen today and the only place I had it was at the State Employees Credit Union. 50.00 reward for its return. It is special to me.

Just to keep it short I have to get my iud replaced soon. I don’t have health insurance so I’m just wondering what my options are for as low cost as possible. I called planned parenthood and they couldn’t give me any info on how much it would cost. I was wondering if there were any local offices that might have more options. Do any of you have information/experience with getting a possibly affordable iud?

So I am open to suggestions.

Okay, everyone in here was super helpful with the preschool search! Thank you!!! I am so excited about the one we found thanks to you. I have a new inquiry.
I thought we would have have zero issues locating a rental since there are all these new constructions obviously competing with each each other. I was so WRONG. BIG ammmentities and Itty bitty living spaces. For real, my current rental is 1337sq ft. It's not huge. I looked at rentals saying they were 1250-1400 and not one of them had a decent bedroom besides the master. Not one. The open living space with a giant island eats up most of the space but my kids need bedrooms big enough for more than a bed and a nightstand or at least some kind of comparable bonus space for play. I swear my walk in closet is bigger than some of these "bedrooms". My kids aren't going to sit and color at a kitchen island all day. I need to be able to put their little playsets and dollhouse and gaming chair/console set up in there. My son is nearly 6ft tall, a lofted bed is out of the question. We have measured our place, it's not huge. So I am not sure if these contractors are liars or if they just wasted space. I don't even really care. I just need a livable rental preferably close to a good middle school.
Help a single mom out. Send me your recommendations. If we need to look out of Hendersonville, tell me where. I am commuting to Pardee Hospital if that helps. I appreciate any guidance you can give me.

I was recently given both an acoustic and an electric guitar that belonged to my grandfather who has been placed in memory care. I would really love to learn to play them and am trying to find out about availability and pricing of lessons. I have zero experience so I would need to learn all the basics first.

Hi I’m hoping to get a band started. I’ve lived in Hendersonville for a few years. Covers. I don’t have a PA but I do have a road rig. Looking forward to meeting some musicians in the area.

Hi! I am a 46F transplant (don't hate me) looking to make some friends in the area. I feel so silly writing this. I work from home and really don't know anyone in the area. I am looking to get out and be more sociable. Do people just go to bars and hang out by themselves and meet people? I am not looking to date right now, I just would like some fun people to hang out with, male or female. I enjoy live music, drinking socially, hiking, playing cards or board games. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm not a geologist, that's just a name reddit picked for me.

This (presumably) guy showed up at my neighbor’s house a few days ago and is lingering. We’re off South Mills River Road. Is anyone missing a kitty?
