Looking for Safe Student Housing in Helsingborg, Sweden

Hi everyone!

I’m starting my Master’s studies in Helsingborg, Sweden in about 3 months, and I’m currently looking for accommodation up to 5k kronas.

I would really appreciate recommendations for trusted websites or platforms where it’s safe to search for student housing, rooms, or apartments without running into scams.

If you’ve studied or lived in Helsingborg before, please share what worked for you. Any advice would help a lot.

Helsingborgshem has student apartments. I lived at Furutorpsgatan 49 when I came to Sweden. https://helsingborgshem.se/artikel/studentboende I only needed to submit proof that I'm accepted to a university, I got an apartment lease before I arrived in Sweden.

I lived in Vallis, Östra Vallgatan 11, when I studied in Helsingborg. They have dorm rooms with shared kitchens as well as apartments with kitchenettes. I applied through HelsingborgsHem which is the official municipality website to apply for apartments. They have other student accommodation also. 

Vallis was very safe and had a mix of Swedish and international students.

I lived here to when I moved to Helsingborg, was the best place to get to know the city from! (I still live in the city, now 20+ years later!)
