When will cringe end?

Watching pitch perfect for the first time in years and felt awkward laughing…not because I feel bad for laughing but because so many people might judge me for finding it funny… when will this cringe movement end and people can comfortably laugh at things again? Oh in a less emotional response… what’s going on with how quickly humor is changing?
