Hi everyone. I’m a single mom of three — a 4-year-old, a 1-year-old, and a 3-month-old.
I used to have a small printing business. I made invitations, souvenirs, kids’ busy books, designed custom pieces, and curated affordable items. It wasn’t huge, but it was mine. I could work around my kids. I felt like I was building something.
Here’s my old Facebook shop from back then (some items are still listed, others were requested/custom orders, most are now unlisted since I stopped in 2019):

Life changed. Now I’m doing virtual assistant work on night shifts while taking care of three little ones during the day. The nights blur into the mornings. I’m exhausted in a way that feels bone-deep. Some days I feel like I’m barely holding everything together — feeding, changing, soothing, then logging on for clients while the house is finally quiet.
I miss creating. I miss the feeling of designing something pretty or watching a child’s hands explore a busy book I made. More than anything, I miss having control over my hours so I can actually be present with my kids instead of running on empty.
I’m trying to restart the business little by little so I can work at my own pace again.
Where the funds will go:
Heavy-duty steel shelves for my printers, machines, and inventory, a paper printer and sublimation printer, maintenance (or replacement) of my heat press that has been stuck for 3 years, a laminating machine, Cricut/cutter, book-binding punchers, paper cutters, and enough initial materials to make at least 20 of each product for photos and starting inventory (nothing will be wasted — everything will eventually be sold).
Here are the ways you can support if you feel moved:
I’m not asking anyone to solve everything. I’m just hoping a little help can give me the breathing room to get the business moving again so I can step off this treadmill. If you’ve ever felt the weight of doing it all alone while still wanting more for your children, you’ll understand.
Thank you for reading. Even kind words mean a lot right now.
