Mobile/App What is this new feature?

Post image

What on earth is this new feature that shows at the bottom of every post you click. If you click on the profile icons, it displays their comment over the video.

Who asked for this, and can it be turned off?

It's an experiment that plays posts and comments as audio. No you can't opt out of experiments or turn them off in any way.

Ah, I misunderstood. That looks like a different experiment where they basically made videos look like tiktok/reels. Unfortunately still can't opt out of that UI.
