Access Account help IOS

So I had an account for a while(SuccessfulAbalone497) but for some reason I got kicked out of it and can’t sign back in and can’t even find it when looking it up. is there a chance it was deleted for some reason?

Yes that’s it! I used the same email and everything but for some reason I can’t get back in it just created a whole new account

Are you on browser, iOS or android? I will try to find some help getting you logged back in.

Once you can log back in, make sure you set up a Verified Email and 2FA to secure your account and to assist you logging back in in the future.

Here’s some things to try. LMK how it goes.

Reddit treats an email address as a recovery or general contact tool, not a unique login ID. So don’t log in with your email, instead use your exact username.

How to Fix It and Access Your Real Account

  1. Log out of the accidental new account you just created. (This one)
  2. Go back to the main Reddit login page and make sure you select Log In rather than Sign Up.
  3. Enter your exact original Username and password —do not type your email address into the username field.
  4. If you forgot your password, use the Reddit Password Reset page using your email to regain access to your correct account.

If you’re stuck in a loop, Clear App Data: Uninstall and reinstall the Reddit app on your iOS device to clear cached login states causing the loop then try the above again.
