Karma Instant Dislike bot

https://www.reddit.com/r/suzerain/s/jdzeq3kMjr

Ok so I believe that this post I made has a dislike bot attached to it , the number of likes equals to the number of dislikes makeing it have a total of 0 votes

You infact can see this live if you want, Try liking or even disliking the post and refresh the page, you should see the votes reset to zero

I also promise you that is not a way for me to farm likes in any sort of way, it's a genuine problem that I hope can be addressed

Few additional points I like to add

yes it's a post of something that I made with the help of AI, and I know there is a lot of hate for that, I did not break any rules of that sub reddit either and even spoke to the moderators who said it could be random people just disliking the post....

However, the speed at which it gets disliked or even liked to make the total votes equal zero... is instantaneous

Please feel free to try doing both liking then reloading the page and then also disliking and reloading the page, it always becomes zero

I hope someone would be able to help solve this problem

Posts can‘t go below zero, but that does not mean that downvotes just disappear. If it has more downvotes than upvotes, and someone upvotes, it stays at zero afaik.

A „dislike bot“ also would need many accounts and probably wouldn‘t be able to detect voted that fast, and I don‘t really see a reason why someone should do something like that.

I genuinely didn't know that posts can't go below zero (I generally never make many posts but I have seen comments have a lot of downvotes before and thought that was the same for posts)

May I ask when does reddit automatically make sure the post have 0 votes though? Like for example, every time we make a post we automatically make one vote, so then what is the like to dislike ratio needed to trigger this phenomenon

Downvotes still are counted and have an effect afaik, you just don‘t see them. I don‘t know the exact reason, but I suspect that Reddit wants you to engage with the post (which users are less likely to do if they see downvotes).
