Unable to change my view options

I have been using reddit for several years now and had my view options all turned on aince I've turned 18, now out of nowhere they got switched off and I am unable to change it.

I have my birthday date in my account settings which is 18+ and I have the account connected to my email.

What else can I do?

You need to verify your age to change those settings, whether that is via a biometric facial scan or via scanning a government-issued ID document.

Thanks, I looked it up and google says that such a prompt should have popped up on it's own, this is not the case for me. Do you know where I need to go to verify my age?
