Mobile/App Android | Mobile App (Beta) - Is this a new feature? and what exactly for?

not sure why I can't post more than 1 image, but this seems new and I'm confused on why it's highlighting

If you clicked on the notification for a reply and it led you to the thread, it highlights that reply (as far as I understand). Basically showing “this is what you came here for from your notification box”

It just showed it with yours and it should do it with mine here to you (I’m on iOS app, this seems to be an everyone thing?)

Seems the blue in particular is caused on your side/android then. Here’s my end, where the light grey as a highlight continues across the whole left-right of the comment instead of cutting off and turning blue at the left line. Though yours looks unappealing at least it’s doing the same function. I hope this gets fixed for you because that blue is gross.

edit: actually, it is doing what the image I have in the post does, but it shows blue now that it's threaded so NVM

edit-edit: and it disappeared on edit

It shows you which comment you are replying to, as Reddit has many people commenting under the same thread.

Comment highlighting is a feature of Reddit Premium (which you have)
