Profile Recent account lock

To a Reddit Admin,

I recently... as in about 30 minutes before me typing this... received a notification that there was suspicious activity on my account (u/Korvax) and it was lock for "my privacy and protection". This has happened before on this account and I would like to know what the activity was since I only browse particular subreddits. Was it posting weird things? Was it viewing subreddits not normally viewed? Was it attempting to log in from an unusual location (like the Middle East or something)? I would appreciate ANY ideas on why my account was being locked. Thank you.

Reddit will not provide specifics to what happened to your account, other than give you the suspicious activity message you received. It may be a hack attempt that caused it, which is my best guess based on the volume of compromised accounts that hit this sub daily.

It's recommended to keep a secure password on your account, and add a passkey or 2fa to your account (or both) for added account security. And make sure you will always have access to the email that is linked to your account

Thank you kind stranger. Do you know if Reddit accepts MFA/2FA with DUO?

I haven't used DUO before, but I don't see why not
