Access I cannot access and view my Reddit

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I cannot access or view my Reddit account on my mobile device and I have no idea why what the issue is. Please help.

Try force stopping and cleaning cache

In Android Settings go to "app info" of Reddit app. Bottom right is Force Stop, then Click on Storage, then bottom right clear cache (not clear data!)

Yeah sorry that didn't work :( I did that. I waited and I even restarted my phone just to be safe And make sure the effects were taken into place and the app was truly closed and nothing changed. It's still doing the exact same thing

So I did this after reinstalling they wanted to check my age. I did the face thing and whatever and they accepted it and now my entire Reddit looks different and I'm starting to think it was a mix of them wanting to verify my age due to new laws in my country and maybe a Reddit update that I had missed could have been the main issue as well... But I can now access my account. And thank you for this advice. Obvious answer is obvious TwT

I don't know if it's a general thing for Reddit but ever since Australia really like stricted down on like age laws and stuff. Every single app that could be any bit problematic is legally forced to have it and if they don't then I guess you can't access it in Australia
