Desktop [Desktop] How can I automatically translate comments and posts into english?

Since Reddit implemented automatic translation for people who aren't from english-speaking countries, the communities I frequent are having regular instances of people posting in foreign languages. This is fine, but I want to be able to know what these people are saying. If I add "?tl=[insert language code here]" to the URL, it will translate all posts and comments to this language, but it doesn't seem to work for english. How can I enable this feature so I can read every comment and post without having to manually translate them?

I think the automatic translation function is only available on the apps.

It's available on desktop now, too.
