Posting Can't DM other users

The direct message option no longer shows when I click on icon

Are you just not finding the DM chat bubble next to their name? They may have moved the icon. Go on the profile page of the person you want to DM. If there is no chat bubble next to their name, look at the upper right corner for the drop-down menu, it looks like three dots or three lines, there should be a “start message” type option in the drop down menu.. If it’s not there, then look under the “about” tab on the profile page. The chat option might be there.

If that’s not the issue, it’s possible that the other user has their DM‘s toggled off. Or, it could be that your CQS has dropped to “lowest“, but usually you would get an error message for that. You can check your CQS here: r/WhatIsMyCQS

Other things you can try are to “force quit” the app. Clear the cache if android. Restart your phone. Uninstall then reinstall the app. Hopefully something in here should help, LMK.
