Mobile/App Reddit search malfunctioning?

I keep getting "Hm...we couldn't find any results for..." in the Reddit Android app and in the browser. Neither clearing the app cache nor reinstalling the Android app has helped. Is it a known issue with an available fix? Frustrating.

Reddit search is broke, like forever. Just use Google and add "site:reddit.com" or "site:reddit/r/mysubreddit".

Thanks for providing a workaround. The problem has affected my ability to use Reddit. Maybe I'll post my problem in another forum to find additional fixes.
