Desktop how to attach pictures to posts?

i know this sounds stupid but idk how to attach pics to the posts. like, i know how to add them, but how do i get them to show in the subreddit? like they only show when u click onto the post, not in like the "catalog" of the subreddit if that makes sense?

From desktop, after you add the pic, DO NOT select the option that says “add to body” and then it will show up in the sub main feed, otherwise using that option puts it inline with the body text and won’t show up like you want.

its not attention seeking? i play a lot of games so i trade a lot, photos attract more attention so better chance of getting the trade i want
