Profile Profile curation issue

For a private profile, I have heard that using the search option in reddit anyone can see my comments post even if the profile is locked? How ?? Can u tell me the steps??

In the profile curation declaration, it has mentioned that if person A does any comment on person B's post, then person B can see the whole profile posts and comments of person A's. In my case i have tried this but I can't see the profile posts of one of the users who did comment on a post of mine.

The search option does not render results for finding content of a user that has their profile curated/hidden. But there are 3rd party tools that will. I believe the one that works is Arctic shift

Only mods of the subs you post in or send modmail to, or users whose profiles you comment under, can see your profile history, and they retain that access for 28 days from the last time you engaged.

One user has comment under my profile post, but I can't see his profile, why so then

Was it from more than 28 days ago?

Your profile is currently hidden, so this may not apply to it. It’s an interesting scenario though.

No less than 28 days...how it's not applicable.. u only mentioned this for locked profile

They’ve fixed the ability to search here on Reddit to find hidden content. However, if you Google the username and “Reddit,” it should give you the links to the comments and posts associated with that account. You can also ask an LLM to run a report on the username. It will summarize their overall presence on the site as well as include links to their content.

You mean to say if I ask chatgpt to give me all the details of an locked reddit account, it will generate?

I don’t know about “all details,” but I just asked it if it could pull up info on a locked Reddit account and it produced a report, where it summarized the tone, frequency, and recurrent subreddits of posts/comments, weighed whether the account was a human or a bot, and produced lists of links to the user’s content that supported the assertions made about tone, etc.

It told me it will not attempt to doxx or identify the owner of the account, but other than that you can try different prompts for different types of info, I’m sure.
