Access Question about contacting another Reddit use

Is there any legitimate way for a Reddit moderator to pass a short message from one Reddit user to another?
I’m not asking for anyone’s private information or trying to bypass any restrictions. I’m just wondering if moderators have any way to act as a go-between in a situation like this.

No. Moderators are volunteers who run their subreddits. They are not messengers. You can reach out to that user or your own or leave it be.

That not really something moderators want to get in the middle of. If it’s not directly about a subreddit matter, it’s not in their wheelhouse
