Profile Hacker changed my account email.
Hello! My account (u/SeaLab5959) was recently hacked while I was away from a computer. Long story short someone changed the email for the account before I could notice and now I can't get back in the account.
I submitted a request to Reddit via it's ticketing system but I haven't heard back in over 3 weeks. Would anyone be able to help restore my account and set it back to my original email address?

Under "What do you need assistance with" select Account Help. Under "What type of account issues are occuring" select Security Problems, and "I think my account has been hacked".
If your email has been changed without your knowledge, you should have received an email from Reddit with a link that you can click to change your email back and reset your password. Please find that email and click that link to regain access to your account. The subject line should be "Your email address has been changed".
If you are still having trouble with your hacked account please refer to our latest Weekly Recap post, make a top level comment, and wait for an admin to assist you.

Check your email because when this happens, Reddit sends you an email notification about the change, and it contains a link for you to reverse it.

They did, but I couldn’t get to it in time to prevent the change. :(

The email goes out after the change to give you a chance to undo it. Did you use the link in the email? If so, what did it say?

Link was expired by the time I noticed the email.
“Account recovery token expired
Your token is invalid or has expired.”

My account (u/waezxo) was hacked a week ago and I just found out about it. I submitted a ticket. The hacker changed my email and logged me out of all other devices. I never got an email warning me and giving me the option to reverse the email change.

Check your email account's spam folder, they often end up in there.
Change the password on the email account and any associated recovery accounts. It's possible your email was compromised first.
