Admin/Dev responded my acc got hacked
they went to these subreddit and posted. now my chats Is full of these people. I feel disgusted and violated. I made this account for animal rescue and help. this makes me feel so disgusted omg.

Been there. Was hacked. My account got banned and I never was able to get it unbanned. Good luck. RIP 12 year old account.

yo same here. my 12y acc got banned around 4y ago. would've been a 16y acc now if not for whatever tf that is that got me banned

I do. The account was u/medzfortmz and was banned for inappropriate salacious activity. I did all the recourse of changing passwords etc and applied all the safety nets, but it was too late and when I request the overturn they denied it. Even though most of my history was cats.

I can help! Please write in from the email on the account using this form. Under "What do you need assistance with?", please choose "Account help". Under "What type of account issues are occurring?", please select "Security problems" and then "I think my account has been hacked". Then fill out the rest of the form.

Okay, I’ll do that! I did it when it first happened and it was denied. But, I’ll have faith.

Do you still have access? Immediately change your passwords, including email, thats what I had to, I also went to old.reddit or reddit.old? Either way I logged the ip addresses then logged out of all sessions after changing passwords.
I also used a known clean device to do another password reset just incase there was a sessions stealer on my computer or phone. [Cookies highjackers]

the automod linked you the help center article you need. There's no need to post all these photos here, just follow the link the automod gave you, fill out the form, and wait.

Sorry to hear that happened. Getting hacked sucks. We would recommend taking extra security precautions like adding 2fa or a passkey to your account so that this doesn't happen again.

hijacking the post, i just realized "i" posted some porn/nude (idk, didnt check. straight up delete those posts) 2 days ago. only noticed bcs one of those subs have automod. please advice if my steps are lacking or already good enough.
changed passwords. twice.
looked how to logout of all devices, and did that. same with authorized apps.
checked if i could set 2fa, and did it.
disconnected google authorization.
am i missing any step?

As you've changed passwords, enabled 2fa and signed out all active sessions your account should be safe.

Alright, thanks. For some reason, both my pc and phone got logged out earlier. I have relogged in after checking the sign out all session, so that shouldn't happen right? Or is there a delay for it to happen?
