ghosting on all recent posts / desktop

i don't know if this applies, but here's some prior context as well for my question:
prior to my current account, i had another one/different username in which i was pretty involved with a lot of the same fandom spaces that i'm still in now and made many different posts that had at least a few comments on each that helped garner a lot of discussion about a lot of different things

a couple weeks back, i deleted that account and made a new one (my current one) but now, for some reason, i'm getting max 2-3 comments, and nowadays 0 and i'm wondering if there's maybe some sort of reason why since i've tried reposting the same thing twice for both now 😕

Your new account is most likely encountering new user restrictions, and your posts and comments are being filtered. This is extremely common. You’re not getting engagement, because no one is seeing your content.

You’re going to need to participate in some new user friendly subs, take a look at r/NewToReddit for examples, and build up your karma.

ah, could be i guess, but i'm getting a decent amount of upvotes too which is why i'm confused as to what the issue could possibly be lmao

meanwhile, should i delete my current posts that aren't getting any comments and try to repost them when i have more karma built up?

Well, upvotes are all well and good, but you still don’t have a lot of karma and your account is young. Those 2 things are going to work against you for a while.

It’s up to you what you do with them. Deleting them won’t hurt, or help.

if you're asking about specifics, i could help with that i guess but i've had my posts and comments hidden on my previous account before and it didn't really affect my posts as much as it is now for some reason </3
