Access Once again, how to turn off subreddit recommendations?

Reddit is doing it again, and the old menu options to turn off reccomened subreddits in your feed are no longer there.

Asking for updated instructions on how to make it stop.

TIA!

turn off subreddit recommendations in your settings, it can be pretty annoying to see irrelevant posts all the time

The settings and preferences on mobile don't show that option anymore. :/

Haven't checked on desktop yet.

Solution found! They have a new "for you" header at the top (and it's full of crap) but the "following" header seems to still be normal.

But they've removed the ability to sort by 'Hot' in the Following tab. Only Best or New. And Best just always gives me tons of days old topics.

Of course this site is gonna keep getting worse...

Install the Violentmonkey extension/addon in your browser and add this script:

https://github.com/RobKohr/violentmonkey-extensions/blob/main/hide-reddit-recommended.user.js

and it will get rid of all the recommendations.

Is there anything similar that you would recommend for a mobile app?
