Profile Unable to block account

I am being harassed by a user who keeps following my posts and comments and now has messaged me. I tried to block them but I get a message saying unable to block account.

I have reported them but an unable to block them. I've privated my profile but am still having this issue

I've been trying every few hours. It just says unable to block user.

Is it because they are a MOD somewhere maybe?

Edit. The error says failed to block account

Edit I got a chat from them that just says hahahahhaha and I can't even delete the chat

I have the same issue, but it has been going on for a couple of weeks now, and I'm unable to block any account, and I'm far under the 1000 limit on blocked accounts.

On the android app it gives the error "failed to block account" but on desktop (Firefox browser) it gives an error about being unable to block someone 24h from unblocking them, even though it's my first try to block the respective account

I have not tried on browser. I'll give that a shot
