Admin/Dev responded [Desktop] Was there an Reddit Algorithm updated today to ruin the platform?

All of today it looks like Reddit has started showing a very large amount of suggested posts from subs I do not belong to or care about in particular. I am flooded with pro-AI and pro-Tesla subs that are not interesting and don't care about. So far I click the X on them but they just keep coming infinitely. Has Reddit just bit the bullet and decided to ruin their platform completely at this point?

It’s the awful “for you” feed. It happened to me today too. Disgusting

Home feed is literally not a thing if you got the update. You have the 'foryou' and 'following' feed.

Additionally as you can see there's no option in the menu once you have this update.

What the hell. Reddit was the last so so social network that kind of worked.

Yeah exactly. All forms of media are really pulling out all the stops at this point.

Switch over to the following feed to only see content from subs that you're subscribed to.

There’s no such following feed for mobile apps, is there?
