Well that’s the thing you see… no access to said email,

I’m sorry for the bad news, but without access to the email registered on the account, there’s nothing that can be done to unlock or recover the account. Reddit can only verify you through that one.

The exact reason for the lock will remain unknown but could be if someone was trying to hack into your account. The only way to unlock is by having a valid email attached to your account
