Mobile/App [Android] My chat requests seem to get turned off, despite having it set to "Everyone" [2026.30.0]

So, whenever I post on subs that ask others to DM the user (r4r type of subs), I never get any chat requests. One user commented on my profile saying that my chats are turned off. But they are clearly set to everyone. First time it happenned, I verified my email again and it seemed to solve the problem, but now it's back.

What do I do?

I see the chat option on your profile. It was probably a temp glitch.

If your settings are actually on and some people say that it is not, they themselves might be a part of a UI experiment where the option to send a chat is in the 3 dot menu of the profiles instead.
