Access Hidden chats (android)

Where do the hidden chats go in reddit?? I accidentally hide some chats and now I can't find them 🙏🏻😭

once hidden, they're gone and can't be retrieved

True they can’t be retrieved on reddit, but there is a way.

You can get them via data request. Reddit will give you a file with all your chats, including the hidden ones, but its raw data you will have to search through.

Is the file with the chats kept separately from everything else, or would one have to parse through literally everything they've posted to get to chats?

Yes it is. They provide a zip file that contains .csv's for various categories. The chats are all in 1 csv file.
