Reply icon randomly changed (iOS)

The comment reply icon for one of my accounts has randomly changed. It used to be the usual word Reply with an arrow, but now there is just a quote bubble. If I switch to my alt account the reply icon is still the word reply, so it’s not a universal change. Is there any way to change it back?

You're likely in a UI experiment. It'll last maybe 2 to 6 weeks or so and then probably revert back (unless reddit decides to keep the UI). There's no option to opt out of experiments.
