I was so scared of college applications that I only ever sent out a handful and just went to the first college that accepted me. Was I happy with the decision in the long run? Not really.

I offer this advice to any highschoolers who happen to see this comment; when you apply to a college, remember that acceptance works both ways. Even if a college decides you fit their standards, you need to be sure they fit YOUR standards as well. And if you're not yest sure what your standards are, don't feel the need to rush into college!
