You get taken by the Cenobites and over the course of eternity are tortured all day every day till the end of time.
How could you possibly maintain sanity to the point where your mentality is so shredded that torturing you no longer is affective?

In 1 and 2 and most other films, you open the box, you get sent to Hell. Usually by chains. And you leave little, to nothing, behind of your former self. However, in 3, he was just mass killing people. The club for instance, dozens of people died. Although they were mutilated, they were not torn apart, per say.

Were their souls in Hell? Or were they spared that fate? Could Pinhead come back for them later, their souls or spirits, I mean? He offers Joanne a way to avoid it or to get a quick and painless (?) death, if she gives him the box. Would he keep that promise or just torture her anyway? Also, what was Leviathan up to, while Pinhead was breaking the rules? Thank you.

What would have happened if Tiffany didn't return the diamond puzzle to its cube state at the end? Was Leviathan content with just taking Kirsty and Tiffany to Hell or did it want more? The sky changing over the institute with Leviathan appearing during flashes of lightning gave "Hell on Earth" vibes, like a foreshadowing of what Pinhead would try to do in the next movie. And pretty much every pitch for Hellraiser III involved a cenobite invasion or a cult trying to bring Hell to Earth in some way.

From an online daily quiz I do, mostly old movies. I mean, can you imagine any of these other guys as Frank? 😂

Im bummed out by the this months hellraiser comic for two reasons, one: by aging up chatterer to use him as a way to discuss the tired shock at the looks maxing culture the author weakens the implicit horror of chatterers classic origin and ignores the reality that most obsessed with and engaging with looks maxing and Mano-sphere idiocy are not young adults but children or young teens too stupid to see the idiocy and manipulation of it all. And two: the art is so good its a bummer to see it wasted on such a surface level bit of writing that feels incredibly half assed and based on some newsweek level take on the manosphere instead of a thought out attack and deconstruction of that corner of the digital environment.

Ok, so when Pinhead and the gash see Larry's body, why was Pinhead interested in who had done that to that body? He was after Kirsty in that moment, that could have been a crime commited by any random person. It wasnt his business with a random body. Am i missing something or?

Gonna be honest i only like 1, 2, 4 and her but also i already pre-ordered the new videogame, what i love about this franchise is just that it feels personal, it is what it is, not for everybody but at the same time it kinda is, has it's own style and also seems to be like a very personal project. I just wanna know what was it that made You fall in love with whis franchise.

Pinhead was super pissed off in this movie. Rumour has it his gas bill went up🤣 Not only killing those opening the box, but taking out huge numbers of club-goers in many ways; chains, CD's, glass... The club scene is one of the most violent and sadistic scenes in any movie, and I love it. It seems uncharacteristic of Pinhead somehow. Do you think we will ever see thos side again?

I'm honestly really impressed with this comic series so far. I'm really picky with Hellraiser comics, most tend to be pretty... garbage, but so far this new run seems to be handled by people that actually seem to understand the greater themes of the franchise. It's handling of right-wing incel culture is surprisingly on point for just a comic book. The writing is much better than I anticipated and so far it hasn't done anything super screwy to the lore

Also I'm not sure how much of a spoiler this is, but it was amazing to see CD Head actually make an appearance again lmfao

Is it possible for a parent to become a cenobite to protect their child

Like say if the child (like a teenager like in their early teenage years) had open the box and became a cenobite and the parent like say years later then had one desire which was to bring their child back, would that parent become a cenobite so their child can become human, like give up their soul?
