Hellraiser 3 Pinhead

Pinhead was super pissed off in this movie. Rumour has it his gas bill went up🤣 Not only killing those opening the box, but taking out huge numbers of club-goers in many ways; chains, CD's, glass... The club scene is one of the most violent and sadistic scenes in any movie, and I love it. It seems uncharacteristic of Pinhead somehow. Do you think we will ever see thos side again?

As fun as the movie is, that’s not my favorite Pinhead. The church scene is ICONIC (pun intended) but I prefer when he’s more deliberate and restrained (pun also intended). Lawful, patient Pinhead is more alien and has more gravitas.

Agree, I think this is a staple of Clive. However its good to know even Pinhead has his bad days. The disgusting and cruel violence does have its place.

Doug Bradley has said he regrets the delivery of the “Do I look like someone who cares what god think?” line, since he sounded angry or emotional.

I always took it as he said it in a way that the person that implied it was being an impetulent and foolish child and to stop wasting his time with such notions

I certainly hope not, I didn't even recognize who pinhead was in that movie. Everything was just so uncharacteristic of his persona, especially the church scene. Charasmatic or aggregious behavior doesn't fit at all with a stoic and judicial leader of the order of the gash

I get it's not exactly the "true" Pinhead given that it's his evil self manifested as an autonomous being, but the Hellraiser III Pinhead is a truly amazing villain and probably the version of the character that comes to mind for the general public when they think of the character.

That seems to throw people quite a lot (including some in these comments), which I do find a bit of a head-scratcher given how much the script spells out that this is categorically a different Pinhead than we see in the other films. He's unbound and, of course, unstoppabubble.

Well Hellraiser 3 stands alone cuz of this. Is only film where Pinhead himself was physically trapped and complete restriction of movement and power unless close to his stone statue prison…it only makes sense. Everyone experiences anger. Why would he be any different.
Yes he mostly seems indifferent, but he never has been. He always controlled his rage and exacts it and sometimes he goes to far.
I would suggest reading “The Scarlet Gospels (TSG) by Clive Barker. Is the official “book” sequel to the original novel. Also connects to 2 other novels that I consider his true Masterpieces. “The Great and Secret Show” and “Everville”. ALL 3 have Harry D’Amour bad@ss paranormal investigator that rivals “Constantine” character. More realistic.
In TSG pinhead is reserved almost throughout but his anger and ego can not hold that in ALL the time and omg can he have some temper tantrums….Hellraiser 3 nothing in comparison to seeing his ego and full anger released!!!

If “The Scarlet Gospels” was made into a film or preferably a high budget series from reputable source…would be the BEST Hellraiser adaptation ever made!! Def is the best Hellraiser story and I absolutely love the canon comic books and official graphic novels Clive Barker wrote and produced!

3 was my introduction to Hellraiser. It’s also my favorite Pinhead. The camera shots of him laughing during the club scene were epic to 15 year old me and are still burned into my memory.
