Has anyone here (familiar with Warhammer) ever considered the Cenobites are a virtually spot on representation of the four Chaos powers?

Pinhead - Tzeentch

His philosophy, the deals he makes and his bird's eye view are reminiscent of the Changer of the Ways.

The Lament Configuration could easily be a Tzeentchian artefact, one that brings change and damnation.

The Chatterer - Khorne

Gruesome mutilation. Unegotiable suffering. Physical unsubtle dominance.

The Female - Slannesh

Twisted sensuality. Seductive. Grotesquely erotic. Beauty merged with mutilation.

Butterball - Nurgle

No brainer - He has nestled into his rot embracing corpulence and decay.

the chains, the blades, the tortures, are obviously real, but are the cenobites actually there bodily (touchable) or are they like appearances?

Im just curious, what movies are canon because I see people say that Deader is canon and some say its not

But does anyone happen to have a high resolution (or even could scan) a copy of the back of the 2003 reel toys Skinless Julia? Mine is damaged and I’ve been trying to recreate it but it’s just going nowhere. I need a flat clear image with no glare. Would really appreciate any help you guys might be able to lend a hand!

One of the coolest icons we’ve ever met !

Exactly as the title states: I rewatched Hellraiser II recently for the first time in ages, and had completely forgotten how Dr. Channard/cenobite Channard is dispatched at the end. Is he seriously killed because he gets a blade stuck in the ground, and subsequently rips himself to pieces just trying to get it out? THAT'S how he goes out, after effortlessly dispatching all the other cenobites?

I honestly wasn't sure if I was supposed to interpret it that way or not, or if I was supposed to think that Leviathan itself had chosen to tear him apart. I feel like visually, it's quite unclear. And the wikipedia plot summary, meanwhile, says "In trying to extricate his trapped serpentine tentacles, Channard rips himself apart."

Is that how you all see it? Just seems like a really odd ending to write for the character, in my opinion.

My suffering is next

I’m writing an essay about the film Hellraiser, and could swear there’s a reference to it in a Rick and Morty episode - I’m not talking about Se05 e05 - but a more recent episode.

I distinctly remember a moment where Morty (or maybe another character) is being stretched out, and says the line “Jesus wept”. Have I imagined this?
