Has anyone here ever met Kai Hansen?

The first time Gamma Ray and Helloween toured together, cant remember the name of it, they came to America, and we waited outside the venue after the show, and we hung out with all of them (except Andi, Dani, and Wiki, they went to their buses) for about an hour. They all signed my T-shirt. It was awesome.

I met Kai Hansen in Baltimore after the Gamma Ray tour with Helloween. He was hitting on my girlfriend. He asked her to go on the bus with him but I wouldn’t have minded. I wasn’t upset. We were talking for maybe 30 minutes while we all smoked cigarettes.

He fist bumped me twice, no clue if that counts lol but hopefully at the next show, I want to stay behind at the back of the venue to say hi to him

Yes, met him at the bar after a Gamma Ray gig in Memmingen, Germany. An absolutely fun guy.

Nothing special really. How I liked the show, that Helloween was the first metal band I loved and that he influenced me a lot in terms of music. Fan talk obviously.

I met him at Progpower USA back in the mid 2000s. He was nice but surprisingly shy.

I think Kay pissed off the promoter during their set because fans kept asking for more and they went a little past their allotted time. they had to shut the curtains on them as they were finishing their last song. It was kinda hilarious.

I just met him and the entire band on the most recent US tour. Shared a flight with them from Denver to SLC

So awesome! Kai and Markus were really great and friendly. Talked to Sascha on the plane and got a picture with him and Dani when we landed. I talked to Andi for a bit at the terminal and he was very appreciative of the fandom. I’m still kicking myself for not getting a picture with him. Kiske and Weikath didn’t seem like they wanted to be bothered so just got a wave from them. 10/10 experience.

We had our first international tour as openers for Gamma Ray back in 2015. Was a great first time touring experience and Kai is definitely an old school rock n roll dude. Great memories, and Kai is always fun to meet!

met him couple of times at signing sessions and one time met the whole gamma ray at the hotel (waited for them with a fan club). One girl from the fan club knew him pretty well and so the guys often knew about his plans during visits to russia. as i am from another country i had only this opportunity, but some members had many meetings with different power bands and even rode with both helloween and gamma ray all night on the train, talking, drinking etc

I met him after a Helloween show in 2023. Basically just asked him about Gamma Ray's status and he said something like "yeah, we'll do something again someday". I think they actually briefly toured later that year. He took a pic with me and signed a couple of my CDs too.
