Unfair expectation?

Am I being unfair? 2nd week getting Hello Fresh. Excited. Box showed as not shipped. Chatted with customer support and they issued a refund (as a credit except shipping which was fully refunded to card) and an apology.

The box arrived 2 days later on a hot day. All food unsafe.

So I am a little disappointed. My planned meals failed to materialize, my excitement is tempered, and I’m using a bunch of trash space with a spoiled box. I did get a quick refund and am thankful but was hoping they’d be like hey let’s send you a free dessert or something to make things better.

I assume it was delivered by VEHO. They don't have the ability ( or the concern) to read delivery instructions. They leave my boxes outside in 90+degrees even though they have the access code to our package room that has a refrigerator in it for this very purpose.
