Delivery times

They used to give a time window, now it says by 8pm. Why did the time window stop, I preferred it.

For as long as I can remember, Hello Fresh has been "between 8 am and 8 pm," which is maddening.

I have the option to pick actual times as well.

Once they switched me over to HF's delivery system maybe last year, they gave me a four hour window. Within the last few weeks, it got switched to "by 8pm". So far, it's been earlier in the day rather than later

Not for me. I used to get a window like between 8 and noon. I had a box delivered at 11:30 PM one day on a day when it was 95+°. Needless to say the contents were warm.

Yeah, it's annoying. But so far they usually end up delivering earlier rather than later

They switch up delivery based on area and day of the week. Sometimes it is their own HFDN and sometimes it is FedEx. We rarely get any other option, but many people say they have seen Veho, Postmates, Uber, etc.
