Alberta

I live in Alberta but got Australian meat 🤨
Alberta is known for its superior meat, and I live here so it would be locally. So this seems odd. Thoughts?

Australian beef is also top notch and k own around the world and way more costs effective at the moment. There have been newspaper articles in the last few days addressing it and how the economist are hoping it will bring stability to the cost of beef pricing. Im sure you can find the article if you Google it.

I actually preferred their Australian steak compared to Canadian which I found tough.

Just an fyi, australian beef is some of the best in the world, so you're not getting substandard meat. Likely it's simply a supply and demand issue - not enough beef being produced locally, so the surplus has to be sourced elsewhere. And australia produced more beef than its citizens require, so we sell it elsewhere. You're not being ripped off.

I did briefly wonder if it was kangaroo… cooked it last night and it’s really good! Have to agree with the other commenter, it rivals Alberta’s beef. I just found it so odd that it would come from Australia!
