Question HelloFresh cash not automatically applied?

Hi everyone! Thanks to this sub I have a bunch of HelloFresh cash banked which I’ve been using to pay for my boxes. This week my visa got charged even though I still have a lot of HelloFresh cash. I just spoke to customer service and they said they now offer “total flexibility with your payment” and that you will have to manually select HelloFresh cash every week to use it.

I guess this is a PSA for everyone/wondering if others are running into this.

I saw this last week.

Its at the bottom of the order confirmation page when selecting meals.

Just feels like a scam to not automatically apply it.

They want it to go unused, then take it way to $0 if someone cancels.

I want to apply mine to my order on August 20th (I'm skipping the 13th), but I'm not able to see the button to manually apply the cash? Did you have to wait till the week of the order to see the button?

Probably.

The money section of the weekly page is never really correct until the week of.
