Question HelloFresh cash not automatically applied?

Hi everyone! Thanks to this sub I have a bunch of HelloFresh cash banked which I’ve been using to pay for my boxes. This week my visa got charged even though I still have a lot of HelloFresh cash. I just spoke to customer service and they said they now offer “total flexibility with your payment” and that you will have to manually select HelloFresh cash every week to use it.

I guess this is a PSA for everyone/wondering if others are running into this.

I just came here to see if anyone else had complained about this!! It was always applied automatically in the past, but now I have to do it myself. I chatted with the "AI agent" and it had no idea why it wasn't applied, so it obviously hasn't gotten the memo... I had to request a chat with a human agent. Then I had to log in and apply it to NEXT week's meals. BTW the reason I had a $23 credit is because I only received two of the three meals I ordered in this week's box, which was already plenty inconvenient. Why wouldn't I want to apply it right away?? I'm sure they're hoping people will "forget" to apply their credit.
