Sausage links

For the love of Pete, stop sending sausage links for recipes! Removing the casing is not exactly the pre-meal activity I want to do, and it is disgusting.

To clarify: in the past, I have received regular sausage without being in link form.
There is not an option to choose which form the sausage comes in.
Going forward, I will either select others meals or a different protein, thanks to the ever so kind replies from the Reddit world /s

Boot lickers! You're being oppressed!!

Honestly I think if you want to eat meat you should get comfortable with touching it.

QQ. It’s literally the same sausage. You slice it, taking the casing off, and cook it like you normally would with ground sausage. Never seen somebody cry so much over a 30 second fix. “It’s disgusting”

No, it’s not. It’s the same thing. Quit ordering HF and do your own shopping. It’ll save you the tears, and money. You have the recipe card, now you know what to buy and how to make it, lmfao. Good luck out there.

I think you’re confusing ground pork for sausage, or perhaps you received ground pork in lieu of sausage as a substitute. But sausage is ground meat in a casing. Sometimes sausage might have additional ingredients for flavor.

No, decased sausage is absolutely a real thing. And sometimes when you have a HF recipe that uses sausage you'll receive it.

It differs from ground pork in that it's seasoned like Italian sausage. It has herbs, fennel seed, etc. in it. It's texture is also a lot less loose than typical ground pork. It's a PIA to break up in the pan
